The trade union federation Cosatu plans to stage a march on Thursday, starting from their headquarters in Braamfontein and proceeding to various government offices in Johannesburg.
The federation aims to draw attention to pressing issues such as widespread unemployment, high interest rates, and the ongoing energy and water crisis.

The marchers are scheduled to gather at 9am at Cosatu House and will be closely monitored by metro police, who will oversee the affected streets.
They will deliver their first memorandum to the South African Local Government Association on Hoof Street, followed by a second memorandum to the South African Human Rights Commission on Stiemens Street.
Subsequently, they will proceed to the Department of Labour on De Korte Street to hand over the third memorandum.

The fourth and final memorandum will be presented at the Office of the Premier on Rahima Moosa and Hendry Nxumalo Street in Newtown.
The Johannesburg CBD and Braamfontein are expected to experience disruptions in traffic during the march, and therefore, motorists are advised to exercise patience as officers will be present to assist in redirecting traffic away from the affected routes.
