A shocking incident unfolded in Magwaveni, KZN this afternoon as a 36-year-old businessman lost his life in a tragic shooting.
The incident came to light when a concerned resident contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 19:28, reporting a single gunshot heard at a general dealer operating from a shipping container.
Reacting swiftly, Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene, only to discover that a private security company had already arrived. Inside the shipping container, they found the lifeless body of the businessman lying in a pool of blood.
The Tongaat SAPS arrived shortly thereafter, employing a bolt cutter to cut a lock and gain access to the premises. Upon examination, it was revealed that the deceased had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his neck. As of now, the motive behind this gruesome murder remains unknown.
