Mihlali Ndamase Slams Dating Rumours: "I've Never Dated Wicknell Or Ginimbi!"
According to Mihlali, attaching her name to people she says she has never even met is no longer harmless gossip.

IYOH, Mihlali Ndamase has had enough, and she wants the whole timeline to hear it! The content creator has shut down claims that she was romantically linked to the late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo and the late socialite Ginimbi.
She took to social media on Thursday to say she won't sit quietly while rumours about her love life are served up as facts.
The speculation about her alleged relationships with the two men flared up again recently, and Mihlali was clearly not in the mood. She drew a firm line between people having opinions and people "deliberately creating narratives that simply aren't true". HAYIBO, that is not a subtle message!

She also made it clear that she can handle being criticised, talked about or even misunderstood. What she won't accept is her name being attached to people she says she has never engaged with, "let alone even met". Her advice to the gossip mill was simple: if you have something to say about her, "have the courage to say what is true".
Mihlali Ndamase Dating Rumours: "Leave My Name Out Of Your Lies"
Then came the part everyone has been waiting for, sisi, because Mihlali named names. In her own words: "I've NEVER dated Wicknell nor have I met him, and I've also NEVER dated Ginimbi." Mihlali Ndamase did not leave any room for a "maybe" there!
She says she knows who she is and what she has done, and, most importantly, what she hasn't done. She added that choosing her peace over entertaining every rumour does not mean people get to "rewrite my character". Yeyi!
And she didn't stop there, because someone on Twitter caught strays. Mihlali asked why so many people are quick to run with narratives created by an account she accused of only using her name "for relevance", and she did not use a gentle word to describe them. She doesn't name the person, so we won't either, but Mzansi is certainly curious!
Why Mihlali Ndamase Wants Her Dating Life Left Alone
In a follow-up post, the star vented about how fixated people seem to be on her love life, and worse, how many of them are lying about it. She said people don't even know what is going on in her life right now, and that she's all about her business and keeping her peace. Her message to the timeline? "Can you guys just stop. It's so pathetic."

Her statement ended with a line that is already circulating: "Respectfully, leave my name out of your lies." Mihlali Ndamase has clearly decided the polite era of this rumour is over. Hhayi, wena, she did say "respectfully", so that counts for something!

The timing makes all of this heavier, because the rumours resurfaced shortly after Wicknell Chivayo's death. According to reports, Chivayo, his wife Lucy Muteke and other passengers died in a helicopter crash in the Marondera area of Zimbabwe on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, which Zimbabwean authorities and his family have confirmed. Our thoughts are with the families, and Mihlali's focus, as she tells it, is on correcting the record and protecting her peace while trying hard to trend.
So, Mzansi, what do you think? Should people leave a celebrity's dating life alone until she says otherwise, or is anything fair game once the rumour mill starts spinning? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
