Legendary actor Mduduzi Mabaso, who has recently wowed audiences in ‘Queendom,’ is taking on a new challenge.

He’s joining the cast of e.tv’s popular telenovela, ‘House of Zwide.’ The actor has already made waves, with fellow cast member Wanda Zuma, who plays Nkosi Zwide, sharing a tantalizing teaser of Mabaso’s grand entrance.

In the teaser, Mabaso is seen dressed as a biker, exuding an air of mystery and rebellion. He confidently strides into the Zwide mansion and takes a seat right on Funani Zwide’s chair.

This bold move has fans buzzing about what his character will bring to the show. Mabaso’s entry comes after the departure of the award-winning actor Vusi Kunene, who played fashion designer Funani Zwide since the show’s inception.

As per July teasers, Funani Zwide will step down as CEO following Nandipha’s (played by KB Motsilanyane) death.

This significant plot twist paves the way for Mabaso’s character to potentially take on a leading role within the Zwide empire. Fans are already speculating that Mabaso might be the new central figure, filling the void left by Kunene.
