The first case involves a 45-year-old woman from Tlhabane, who was working at the mines in Rustenburg when she met Kareem in January 2024.

According to North West provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone, Kareem quickly persuaded her to resign from her job.

Shortly after, he convinced her to lend him R170,000 with the promise of repaying it with interest. However, Kareem disappeared immediately after receiving the money.

The second case involves a 35-year-old woman from Mogwase. She met Kareem at a shopping mall in January 2024, and they began a romantic relationship. In February, Kareem asked her for money, and she gave him all her savings, amounting to R60,000. Just three days later, Kareem vanished.

Kareem, who drove a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with registration plates JH 63 ZF GP or KPK 700 NW, has not been seen since.
