Help South African Lady Find Nigerian Baby Daddy, Stanley Okoye, Who Left During Xenophobia

He arrived in South Africa in 2007 and had a liquor store in Malvern before leaving the country in 2019.

Dear Life Compass,

I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Zandie, a 31-year-old South African lady from Tembisa, and I am reaching out to you for help and advice. My life took an unexpected turn, and I am in desperate need of guidance.

A few years ago, I met a wonderful Nigerian man named Stanley Okoye while we were both staying in Johannesburg CBD. We instantly connected, and our love blossomed. In January 2018, I found out that I was pregnant with our child, and we were overjoyed with the news.

However, in 2019, Stanley’s life was turned upside down by the devastating xenophobic attacks that plagued South Africa. His shop was burnt down, and he was forced to leave the country on a free plane provided for Nigerians.

The plan was for him to return once things settled down, but unfortunately, we lost contact after he arrived in Nigeria. I haven’t heard from him since 2020, and my attempts to find him on social media have been in vain.

Now, our child is five years old and has been facing health challenges. He has been in and out of the hospital, and traditional healers have advised me that he needs his father to perform some cultural rituals for him.

This has left me feeling helpless and desperate to locate Stanley. I have provided Life Compass with a picture of Stanley to aid in the search. He is tall, dark, and hails from Anambra in Nigeria.

He arrived in South Africa in 2007 and had a liquor store in Malvern before leaving the country in 2019. Unfortunately, this is all the information I have at the moment. Life Compass, I humbly request your assistance in locating Stanley and reconnecting him with our son.

I believe that every child deserves the love and care of both parents, and it breaks my heart to see my son suffer without his father’s presence. Any information or leads that you or your readers may have would be greatly appreciated.
