Eswatini Court Hears Alleged AKA Killers’ Lives In Danger

The two brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, who are linked to the high-profile murders of Kienan ‘AKA’ Forbes and Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, appeared in the Manzini Magistrate’s Court in Eswatini on Monday.
The South African government seeks their extradition to stand trial in South Africa. Forbes and Motsoane were tragically gunned down in Durban last year, leading to a high-profile investigation that eventually pointed to the Ndimande brothers as key suspects.
The case has garnered significant media attention, given the public profiles of the victims. The South African authorities have been keen to bring the suspects back to the country to face justice.

During Monday’s court proceedings, Advocate Tsotsi Mabila highlighted grave concerns for the safety of the Ndimande brothers. Mabila argued that the matter should not be transferred back to South Africa due to serious threats to their lives.
He also mentioned allegations of collusion between South African authorities and the police, which could further endanger the respondents.
The extradition of Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande is a complex issue involving legal, ethical, and safety considerations.
The Manzini Magistrate’s Court now faces a critical decision that could set a precedent for how such matters are handled in the future. As the case unfolds, all eyes will be on the court’s ruling and the subsequent actions of both the Eswatini and South African governments.
