“All the rumours are true about parenting; it’s tough, challenging, hard. You’ll pray for your nanny, feel lonely, and have moments of doubt. But it’s also fulfilling, a journey of personal growth, and a constant reminder to be the best version of yourself,” she confessed.
With a touch of humour, Zikhona added, “You’ll cook like a chef, but also whip up quick meals. You’ll seek advice from others and sometimes trust your own instincts. You’ll join mommy WhatsApp groups, laugh out loud, cry in the car, and maybe even have the urge to throw a shoe at your child (almost).”
But amidst all the challenges, Zikhona emphasised the importance of cherishing the moments and finding support from loved ones. She concluded, “Oh, and dealing with baby weight feels like FOREVER 🤦🏾♀️😬.” It’s refreshing to see a celebrity speak candidly about the realities of parenthood.
