Skeem Saam is definitely about to get lit as the former Our Perfect Wedding presenter has managed to score a role in the series. And of course, she’ll be bringing her bubbly personality with her. And for the cherry on top the star will also appear on two other exciting programs.
Hmmm, Vele is no novice on our TV screens but she’s really scooping a lot of late. She’ll star in DiepCity Mzansi where she’ll be playing the role of Maureen, who she regards as, “the 1st lady of ekasi lase Diepsloot.” DiepCity which premieres on 5 April at 20:30 pm is produced by Black Brain SA, which is owned by the phenomenal Mandla N.
She has also bagged another role where she will play Princess, a very dedicated, no nonsense Xhosa woman who is head of security at the airport. The show will be on Gil every Monday as of 5 April on kykNET at 8PM produced by Penguin Films. “I am so grateful to be able to bring her to life,” Vele said.
And the one that really made SA viewers excited is her Skeem Saam role. Vele will be introduced to Skeem Saam viewers on 27 April 2021 and she will be portraying the character of Evelyn. Evelyn is a former teacher who seems strange at first, whilst makes a sudden delivery at Charles’ shop.
