Ntsiki Mazwai and Mzansi Magic viewers were left unimpressed after the Izangoma Zodumo show made a debut on Wednesday evening.
The show took viewers inside of the lives of “alleged” two traditional healers. The channel said the reality show aims to educate viewers about the world of traditional healers through the eyes of the sangomas – Prudence Thandiwe “Ngwe” Magagule and Makgotso “Maweni” Makopo.

Prudence and Makgotso are described as sangomas who have larger-than-life personalities. Prudence is a 24-year-old professional nurse and mother of one, and Makgotso, 34, is an events planner and a mother of three.
After they initially ignored their calling, find themselves having to juggle between their newfound gifts, larger than life social lives, relationships, and professional careers.
The two are ladies who are looking very modern have been criticised at large especially when one of them read the bones with makeup and weave.
A lot of viewers moreover those who know the sangoma route were very irritated, saying the show is making a mockery of their ancestors. Ntsiki Mazwai also posted a video saying that she feels the show is disrespecting back people’s culture.
She went on to say that black people hate themselves.
