Sello Maake Ka- Ncube is set to star in a new Mzansi Mgaic soccer drama series titled Vula Vala which will start airing in October 2020. Sello will be starring alongside other veteran actors Tina Jaxa and Darlington Michaels.

Veteran actor Sello will be playing the role of Bra Rex who is a retired soccer player but who now owns a football club. Bra Rex is said to be a ruthless businessman, with a not so perfect past.

Tina Jaxa will be playing the role of Bra Rex’s wife who is willing to do anything to keep her family together.

The drama series takes place in Kwa Thema in the Ekhuruleni region and it aims to take viewers and fans on an emotional rollercoaster ride which will involve many things such as soccer, crime, business and also betrayal.
Vula Vala is is produced by Back Brain Pictures and it is a story of a young man who leaves home KZN to go and work for his uncle in the city of gold . The young man however ends up playing for Bra Rex’s club the Warriors, thereafter a deep secret is revealed upon his arrival at the club.
Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net Nomsa Philiso, stated that the drama will introduce viewers to what happens behind the scenes of a family owned football club, the pursuit of happiness and to old wounds being opened.
