Thinah Zungu: From Gospel Star To Telenovela Apologies After Intimate Scene

On his Facebook page, Zungu wrote, “Greetings. I would like to apologise to all those who find the role that I’m playing as Malusi in the new telenovela Mother of All inappropriate… I filmed the show before I became a pastor. As a creative, I was invited and I played the role.”

It seems like even gospel stars have a taste for the dramatic. In a surprising turn of events, popular gospel musician Thinah Zungu found himself in hot water after appearing in an intimate scene on the new telenovela, Mother Of All. But fear not, dear fans, for Zungu has taken to social media to issue a heartfelt apology.

Zungu, who is known for his powerful gospel anthems and soul-stirring performances, shocked many of his followers when he appeared in a steamy scene on the small screen. The musician, who has since become a pastor, explained that the role was filmed before he found his calling.

It’s refreshing to see an artist being honest about their motivations, isn’t it? After all, we all have bills to pay. And let’s not forget that Zungu is a talented musician who has brought joy to many with his music.

But Zungu’s apology wasn’t just about money. He also expressed remorse to those who were disturbed by the scenes he portrayed. “Bottom line is that I am sorry to everyone who was disturbed by some of the scenes that I am playing,” he wrote.

While it may be surprising to see a gospel star in a telenovela, it’s important to remember that actors are artists too. They have the ability to transform themselves into different characters and explore different aspects of their craft. And sometimes, that means taking on roles that may not align with their personal beliefs.
