Sadly, Zahara passed away in December, just as she was finalizing her deal with the SABC for the second season of her show.
Despite her untimely death, her family has decided to honor her legacy by continuing the show. The SABC has approached the family, and they have agreed to carry on with Zahara’s vision.
The upcoming season will provide a comprehensive view of Zahara’s life before she fell ill, detailing the events leading up to her hospitalization.

The family, who are relatively unfamiliar with the intricacies of show business, are receiving guidance from trusted friends like Vusi Nova, who was one of Zahara’s closest companions.
Importantly, the family hopes to give Zahara’s fiancé, Mpho Xaba, an opportunity to share his perspective. They believe that he has been unfairly portrayed and that including his voice in the show will provide a balanced narrative of Zahara’s final days.
Zahara’s passing was attributed to liver complications, and her family, led by her mother, Nokhaya Mkutukana, is taking things one day at a time.
