Controversial Limpopo-born sensation Shebeshxt, also known as Lehlogonolo Chauke, recently sent shockwaves through his fans and followers when he took to his Instagram stories to reveal a chilling truth – hitmen had been hired to assassinate him.

Shebeshxt rose to fame in early 2022 with the release of his hit song “Kedi Hit Malume.” Since then, he has been in high demand, collaborating with renowned stars such as DJ Maphorisa and Dr Malinga. However, before his musical breakthrough, Shebeshxt had a troubled past intertwined with crime.

With refreshing honesty, Shebeshxt has openly shared his previous involvement in criminal activities. He admitted that he resorted to crime to provide for his child, emphasizing that he never stole cars but instead ventured into places others wouldn’t dare.

“I wanted money,” he confessed. “I could enter a store and shoplift, armed with a gun or knife. I even carried big knives. It wasn’t just shoplifting; I stole things. I mugged people, and I had a collection of stolen phones.”

Despite his dark past, Shebeshxt made a conscious decision to leave his criminal life behind and pursue a music career. His transformation from a troubled individual to a rising star serves as a testament to his determination and resilience.

However, it seems that his past actions may have caught up with him, as evidenced by the threats to his life.

While it’s easy to dismiss the warnings from “prophets” and sangomas as mere superstition, it’s essential to remember that personal safety is a legitimate concern for anyone, regardless of their background. The fact that Shebeshxt felt compelled to share his fears with the public indicates the gravity of the situation.
