In a moment of panic, Maake KaNcube signed an acknowledgement of debt when the sheriff came knocking to impound his vehicle.

Subsequently, he made a payment of R20,000 to the college and sought legal advice. The iconic actor was advised that the college’s claim lacked a cause of action since he had no legally binding agreement with the school.

Maake KaNcube filed for the judgment’s rescission, which led to the suspension of the attachment. However, the car was still taken and was supposed to be auctioned on June 5.
