Penny Ntuli’s Car Accident Woes Continue

But the drama didn't end there. Just a day later, Penny found herself in yet another accident. This time, while parking her car in her yard, she heard a car approaching from the opposite direction.

It seems like Penny Ntuli just can’t catch a break. The popular Jozi FM presenter recently found herself involved in not one, but two car accidents in the span of just two days. And her fans are starting to wonder if there’s a dark cloud hanging over her.

On Wednesday night, Penny took to Facebook to share the news of her first accident. She explained that while driving on the N3 highway, a rogue log fell out of a passing truck and landed straight onto her car. Talk about bad luck!

But the drama didn’t end there. Just a day later, Penny found herself in yet another accident. This time, while parking her car in her yard, she heard a car approaching from the opposite direction. Despite her best efforts to hit the brakes and pull the handbrake, her car collided with a wall, causing even more damage.

As Penny lamented on Facebook, “In my 7 years of driving, I’ve never caused an accident or been involved in one, but this is now beyond me. This car needs to go back home. No way!”

It’s understandable that she’s feeling frustrated and a little jinxed.

While Penny’s cars may be worse for wear, the good news is that she escaped both accidents unharmed. In her own words, “Whatever I did, the car was going to suffer damages anyway. But hey, no one got hurt… so long as umuntu esaphila, sengibonga lokho.” (As long as I am alive, I’m just grateful for that)

Last month, Penny made the decision to relocate to Johannesburg after landing a radio job at Jozi FM. This move came after she turned down an offer from Gagasi FM, which was only willing to pay her a meager R2,800 per month for a graveyard show on Sundays.

Instead, Penny gladly accepted the opportunity at Jozi FM, where she now hosts the mid-morning chat show every Monday to Friday. It’s a step up from her previous gig and a chance for her to showcase her talent to a wider audience.

While the recent car accidents may have cast a bit of a shadow over Penny’s new chapter in Johannesburg, let’s not forget that she’s a resilient and determined individual. She’s faced challenges before and come out on top, and there’s no doubt she’ll do the same this time around.
