The relationship between Nonku Williams and Dumisani Ndlazi, also known as Rough Diamond or RD, may have appeared healthy to the public, but according to Ndlazi, things were far from perfect.

The controversial businessman revealed in an interview with Zimoja that Nonku was broke and unable to pay her employees in her construction company. He also claimed that she was extremely controlling.
Ndlazi stated, “She wanted to get married after she was promised her own show. I was in it for love, but it seems like she was more interested in content than the relationship. She started controlling me.
“I felt like I was the girlfriend and not the other way around. She wanted things done her way. Never. That chapter is closed. I walked away for a reason. There is no real man who can stand her and her controlling ways. She is too much of a crowd pleaser.”
The drama between the former lovers escalated when Nonku accused Ndlazi of stealing material worth R300,000 from her company. Nonku made these allegations during an episode of “Real Housewives of Durban” (RHOD).
In response, Ndlazi’s legal representative sent a letter of demand, requesting an apology from Nonku before a specific deadline. However, Nonku did not issue an apology as requested.

It is worth noting that Ndlazi has faced other serious allegations in the past. In 2014, he was accused of rape and was subsequently arrested. He was later released on bail. In 2016, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for undisclosed reasons, according to a media statement by the South African Police Services (SAPS).

Nonku, despite being aware of Ndlazi’s past, stood by him and defended him against the allegations. She claimed that he was falsely accused and only served six months behind bars. Nonku revealed that she fell in love with him and saw a side to him that others didn’t.
