DJ Shimza found himself in the hot seat over the weekend after he asked a fan to stop “harassing” him.
The hitmaker stored up a lot of deep feels when he responded to DJ Ceega Wa Meropa’s request to feature on his Channel O lockdown love gigs by telling the DJ he should stop harassing him.

“ You need to stop harassing me, it’s annoying,” Shimza said, adding that the DJ kept mentioning him on twitter.
Social media users called out Shimza for being “rude” and called for his music to be boycotted.
The hashtag #ShimzaMustFall was treading on twitter and Shimza apologised for his comments.

I’ve spoken to ama grootman and they have explained that more is expected of me and in hindsight my response regrettable; I should not have been frustrated because people are just looking for opportunities like I am.
