Limpopo born star Vhudi has finally dropped his much anticipated single, My Yoki Yoki. The musician was on everyone’s lips on the social media streets when he made his debut on SA Idols.
The Limpopo born star had the whole of Mzansi singing along to his catchy Venda song when he auditioned on SA Idols. The judges loved his song and so did the whole of Mzansi.
Vhudi gave the judges and the viewers of the show goosebumps and his appearance on the show trended on Twitter, with many hyping high praises on his performance.

In an interview with Sowetan recently, the 20-year-old explained the meaning of his song.“I was trying to impress someone when I wrote the song,” he told the publication.“I didn’t get the girl, but she was very excited about the song. Yes, My Yoki Yoki is shortened from ‘My Yonkinto’. It just came up as I was writing the song.
We’re proud to announce that Vhudi has released the song at midnight, and his fans are over the moon. The singer was recently eliminated from Idols and his fans were left disappointed but this did not discourage him at all.

Vhudi appearing on idols opened a lot of doors for him, and he recently bagged himself a chance to record in studio which was a dream come true for him as he’s never been in studio before.
“What a beautiful day recording my upcoming single #MyYokiYoki. This was my first time in studio. Thank you, Jesus & everyone who’s working on this with me,” he captioned his post.
