Social media citizens were divided over choosing their national anthem between 2 hit songs that have taken over SA by storm. Fans just couldn’t choose between their old time favourite Sister Bethina or Master KG’s Jerusalema.
Sister Bethina is an old song which was released in 2005 by Mgarimbe. The song was a major hit for years with a dance challenge. Lots of people are still moved by the song till date. I’m sure clubbers can testify that’s Sister Bethina is that one sing that sets the dancer floor on fire.

Well as we all know that Jerusalema is also a hit song by Master KG featuring Nomcebo, its music video has reached over 100 million views and it’s bagged international recognition from huge stars, and also at the top of global song charts.
The song has been recognised by major Hollywood stars such as Janette Jackson, Alicia Keys and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sister Bethina still trends hard on social media, as people are considering reasons why it should be South Africa’s anthem and vice versa for Jerusalema.
