Former SA Idols SA Star Loyiso Gijana wrote a heartwarming song on Gender-based Violence. Recently there have been protests against gender-based violence, workshops and everything you can think of but still, this dark cloud continues to haunt South Africa.
In a recent state of the nation address the president of our country President Cyril Ramaphosa said that coronavirus has the second pandemic joining it and that is gender-based violence. There are a number of our local celebs who used their social statuses to speak about this worrying issue in South Africa and the world.

One celebrity whose voice shouts louder than the rest has to be former idol SA star Loyiso Gijana who has used his voice as an artist to call all men to listen and give attention to the second pandemic the country is facing. The star penned down a touching song pleading with South African men stop killing women. He also urged men to fight for women, rather than expecting women to fight this war all on their own.
