The festival boasted an impressive roster of key speakers, including the phenomenal Connie Ferguson and DJ Zinhle.
Attendees were treated to insightful discussions and thought-provoking talks that left them inspired and motivated. But it wasn’t just the speakers who stole the show; the musical entertainment was equally exceptional.
Multi-award-winning artists such as Brendan Praise and Morda, Sun-El Musician, and Ayanda MVP graced the stage, delivering unforgettable performances.
Inspirational Panel Discussions
One of the highlights of the festival was the two panel discussions. The first, titled “Gal Pals Chats,” featured Siyabunny, Kay Yarms, and Nomsa Mondlane, moderated by Nthati Meso.
The panel delved into various topics, including love, dating, marriage, parenting, and healing. The second panel, titled “Our Love Journey,” saw Mpoomy and Brendan joined by Nozibele Mayaba and Sikhumbuzo Mayaba. Together, they shared their experiences and insights, providing valuable advice and encouragement.
Since the event, Mpoomy has been receiving an outpouring of praise from attendees. Many have expressed how helpful and inspiring the festival was, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Even Connie Ferguson took to Twitter to applaud Mpoomy, acknowledging her dedication and the positive influence she has on the youth.
Of course, as with any successful event, there are always a few critics. Some have accused Mpoomy of imitating Sara Roberts, but these claims were quickly silenced by her devoted fans who came to her defence.
The attack on Mpoomy’s wholesome event by her own fellow black sisters is so sad but I’m not shocked…on brand!!! https://t.co/ZVAeuhFWv1

Hating on Mpoomy is WILD!
Show us what you have built?! Show us where you are in the ring? Show us where you have been vulnerable enough to put your stuff out there and let others judge and PAY you for it. Hating from outside the game, you can’t even get in.— Glocal Girl (@glocal_thando) March 26, 2024
Angithi bona the only thing they copy from other ladies, it’s the SHEIN outfits and those TikTok challenges. Mpoomy got inspired by Sarah, and she aced that event. https://t.co/JeJa23l9Zj
