In a shocking turn of events, former Real Housewives of Durban star Londie London and her boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga have been accused of assaulting a female journalist at a popular nightclub.
The incident reportedly took place at Konka on Tuesday, where the lovebirds allegedly punched the journalist in the face and took her phone before leaving the scene.

The journalist, who has chosen to remain anonymous for fear of victimisation, spoke to Sunday World about the traumatic experience.
She explained that she had only known Londie and Sphamandla through her work as a celebrity blogger, where she had covered their relationship and other aspects of their lives. However, after receiving a threatening call from the couple in July, she decided to withdraw from writing about them.
Despite her decision to distance herself, Sphamandla reached out to the journalist in November, requesting her assistance in announcing their peaceful breakup. After writing the story, he later asked her to retract it, but she refused. This led to their confrontation at Konka, where the journalist simply wanted to clear the air.
Unfortunately, the situation escalated quickly, with Londie and Sphamandla resorting to swearing and aggression.
Sphamandla allegedly punched the journalist on the lips and they left the scene with her phone, while their security guards manhandled her. The journalist, feeling helpless, sought assistance from the police but was met with reluctance.

Eventually, she managed to open a case and retrieve her phone, but not without further threats from Sphamandla. The entire ordeal has left the journalist traumatised and concerned about the intentions of Londie and her boyfriend.
As this legal matter unfolds, it raises questions about the behaviour of public figures and the responsibility they have towards their fans and the media.
