It was a sad day for fans of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Mzansi, as they bid farewell to contestant Liema. The young star was the fourteenth housemate to be evicted from the show on Monday, 18th March.
Presented with a tough decision, Liema had to choose between staying in the game and competing for the grand prize of R2 million or taking a guaranteed R250,000 and leaving the house immediately.
Ultimately, the 22-year-old student decided to press the buzzer, opting for the instant cash and bidding her fellow housemates farewell. While some fans were disappointed with her choice, others applauded her for securing a substantial amount of money in a game where there are no guarantees.
Liema’s departure is not the only shock the show has seen recently. Yolanda, a fan-favourite, was disqualified from the show after making inappropriate remarks about another housemate.

Multichoice, the channel behind Big Brother Mzansi, released a statement condemning any acts that threaten the safety of the contestants.
With only seven housemates remaining, the competition is heating up. Fans eagerly await the grand finale to see who will walk away with the coveted R2 million prize. As former contestant Sol Phenduka wisely advises, “Always take the money. That’s a win. A free R250,000.”

Liema was given 2 choices stay in the game and compete for 2 million or take R250k now and leave the house.
She took the R250k and left the houses.
