South African musician King Monada, also known as Khutso Steven Kgatle, has found himself in hot water after a video of him ignoring a fan’s selfie request went viral.
While some fans defended him, others criticised him for not taking the time to pose with the very people who have made him famous.

They are also expected to constantly smile and pose with fans, even when they may not feel like it. However, King Monada refused to put up a front when a fan approached him for a photo.
