Botlhale Phora, the runner-up of Idols SA Season 13, recently took to social media to level serious accusations against the renowned DJ Prince Kaybee.
According to Botlhale, he had sent a track entitled ‘Ready’ to Prince Kaybee back in 2021, hoping for a potential collaboration or feedback.

However, much to his dismay, Botlhale discovered that Prince Kaybee has now released a song that he claims bears a striking resemblance to ‘Ready.’ This song has since gained significant traction, even inspiring a viral challenge on TikTok.
In a viral video, Botlhale shared his frustration and disappointment over the situation, stating that he had attempted to reach out to Prince Kaybee to resolve the matter amicably.
Unfortunately, his efforts were met with resistance. Botlhale alleges that not only did Prince Kaybee block him on social media platforms, but when he tried to address the issue on Facebook, he was met with hostility and was even sworn at by the DJ.
Determined to substantiate his claims, Botlhale has provided what he deems to be incontrovertible evidence.
He has shared screenshots of emails and direct messages that purportedly show his attempts to communicate with Prince Kaybee about the song.
These screenshots, Botlhale argues, demonstrate the timeline and context of his correspondence with the DJ, thereby supporting his accusation of song theft.
Botlhale’s allegations have stirred considerable discussion and debate within the music community and among fans.
