Sonia Mbele, a South African actress, is the latest celebrity to pay a visit to convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester in prison.
According to Zimoja, Sonia paid a visit to Bester after he was apprehended in Tanzania in April, along with his partner Dr Nandipha Magudumana.

Sonia’s production business is also said to be in talks with another international production company, which wants her to be their South African counterpart and liaison to co-produce a documentary series based on South Africa’s very own Bonnie and Clyde.
Sonia was also photographed visiting the infamous inmate at the Kgosi Mampuru II Prison in Tshwane.
Mbele is claimed to have gotten the appointment with Thabo to confirm the “rights” to his story with the assistance of his lawyers.
Another report claims that the actress-turned-producer has contact with Nandipha. She must have met the doctor through her beauty clinic.
“Nandipha is comfortable with Mbele telling their story because she is familiar with her”, Zimoja reported.
