Robert Marawa appears to have offered Katlego Maboe guidance on dealing with baby mama drama after the young star was dragged on social media by his ex, Monique Muller.
The mother of his five-year-old son Phoenix accused the Expresso and Deal Or No Deal host of “financial abuse” a few days ago.

Katlego and Monique split in late 2020 on a sour note that ended up in court. Monique accused the TV host of cheating and domestic violence, while Katlego claimed his ex had defamed him.
Robert Marawa took to X, formerly known as Twitter, over the weekend to thank the show host for contributing to making Deal Or No Deal, which airs on SABC 1, a success.
Marawa wrote: “We rolled out the red carpet at the Primedia HQ for a man who’s show @DealorNoDealZA is breaking viewership records on public broadcaster channels… CONGRATULATIONS to a top human being and a massively talented and versatile broadcaster, @KatlegoMabe”.
Katlego then expressed gratitude to Marawa for his warm comments. And that’s when Marawa took the opportunity to advise Katlego to stay was from drama.
He added: “You are deservedly flying right now…..Avoid looking left, right, and backward…. Just keep flying”.

Robert Marawa is indeed the best man to give the presenter a word of advice as he has also been in his shoes.
Marawa made news in 2015 for his own baby mama issue with ex-Zoe Mthiyane, who accused him in an open letter of being a deadbeat dad.
Zoe would eventually demand R25 000 each month in child support from the well-known sports presenter.
Flash forward to 2022, and it appears that Robert and Zoe’s drama has survived the storm.
She told Sunday World: “I would describe parenting with Robert as respectful. Our families and close friends have played a major role in creating and maintaining a safety net around our son, and for that, I will forever be grateful. He [the boy] is lucky”.
