Over the weekend, the highly anticipated DStv Delicious Festival took place, drawing music lovers from all over the country. While the festival boasted an impressive lineup of local and international artists, it was Ringo Madlingozi’s performance that left fans both amazed and bewildered.
As the crowd eagerly awaited Ringo’s appearance on stage, little did they know that they were about to witness a shocking turn of events.

During his performance, something seemed to have frustrated the singer to the point where he stormed off stage, leaving his loyal supporters in disbelief. To make matters worse, he even flashed his middle finger as he made his way off stage, adding insult to injury.
One fan, Kea_Nuri, managed to capture the moment on video. In the footage, Ringo can be seen expressing his frustration towards the organizers, stating that he wouldn’t be returning to the show.
He voiced his grievances, claiming that he was treated poorly upon entering the venue and by the security staff. He also expressed his displeasure at being scheduled as the opening act, when he believed he deserved a more prominent position in the lineup.
Ringo’s frustration seemed to stem from the stark contrast between how the international acts were treated compared to the local artists. He pointed out that the international artists were given VIP treatment, with red carpets and all, while the local artists were seemingly overlooked and not given the same level of attention.
It’s clear that Ringo felt disrespected and undervalued, which led to his impulsive and controversial actions on stage.

He said he was treated like a nobody upon entering the venue, treated like trash by security, he also had a problem with being the opening act when his performance was not scheduled for opening, he says the organizers said “the people/his fans” asked that he be the opening act
