The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) feels it has a strong case against musician and TV presenter Molemo Jub Jub Maarohanye. He is accused of rape, kidnapping, and violence.
He surrendered to Brixton Police Station last month after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
He made a brief appearance on Thursday morning in Johannesburg Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed until November 8th.
“Multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, assault to cause grievous bodily harm and several counts of kidnapping. We have placed the matter on the roll because the docket passed the test of a successful prosecution,” says Gauteng NPA spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwana.
