Zimbabwean-born businessman, Leeroy Sidambe, has recently found himself in legal trouble as he has been ordered to pay spousal maintenance and accommodation rent for his estranged wife.
The court order was obtained at the Johannesburg High Court, and it has shed light on the financial dynamics of Leeroy’s relationships.

The wife argued that Leeroy’s ability to shower his new girlfriend, socialite Mihlali Ndamase, with luxury gifts and vacations is proof that he can afford to provide financial support to his ex-wife. She requested a maintenance amount of R156,000, emphasizing the extravagant lifestyle Leeroy enjoys with Mihlali.
One of the wife’s claims is that Leeroy is paying for Mihlali’s up-market cluster house in Bryanston, which exceeds the amount he contributes to the bond of their marital home. She also highlighted their stay at a lavish 5-star hotel in Mexico, costing approximately R28,693 per night during the off-season.
The court papers presented evidence of Leeroy surrounded by luxury shopping bags and expensive handbags in a photo from Mihlali’s Instagram profile.
In addition to the financial demands, the court order also demanded Leeroy to return a luxury Range Rover Vogue Autobiography that he had initially purchased for his wife but allegedly gave to Mihlali.
Leeroy claimed that the vehicle was under repair at PT Paint and Panelbeaters, but investigations revealed that it was actually undergoing a bumper repair, contradicting Leeroy’s statement about a faulty brake system.

The wife further stated that Leeroy laughed at her and boasted about his influence over the police in Sandton, suggesting that they would never take action against him. She expressed her frustration with the lack of progress in her criminal complaint against Leeroy.
