The Shaka Ilembe series which featured Lemogang Tsipa as the character Shaka has obviously surpassed critics’ expectations in terms of acceptability and performance in the market.
The series which was executively produced by Nomzamo Mbatha and had Bomb Production as the official production house in charge of the making while Multichoice dulled out the finance involved has shown the creative side of Tsipa though, some are yet to see it.

At first, critics launched attacks on the Lemogang Tsipa for picking up the Shaka character script, saying he will not be able to interpret the character very well, while others thought it was fair to give him a chance.
But, viewers of the series are currently divided on his performance after he’s featured in two episodes with some saying he’s doing justice to the role while others are saying that his energy in carrying the character is not full enough.
