Viewers of the Miss South Africa beauty pageant finale on Sunday will not only be thrilled by the show but by the host of the show, Queen B who is currently planning of wearing a gown work r60k to the event.

Bonang was just named the pageant’s host, and her House of BNG Cap Classique is the official celebration sponsor of the event.

On Wednesday, the media personality appeared on Metro FM’s breakfast show, presented by DJ Sabby to drop a few clues as to what viewers should expect.

He inquired as to how many costumes she expected on Sunday night, to which Bonang replied, “We did the pre-production meeting yesterday [Tuesday] and a rehearsal.

“So as soon as I plot the show in my mind and I go through the segments, I’ll know how many [outfits] I’ll need. I make a certain number but not all of them get on stage.”

When asked which dress would cost the most, the media personality dropped the R60k gown tip.

“There’s one that’s being made by a designer, somewhere … it was about $3,200 [R60,040]. That’s the big opener number,” Bonang said.

This is not the first time Bonang is hosting the show. She hosted the show in 2019.

She said, “Zozibini won Miss Universe in 2019, which was the last time I hosted the show, so who knows what is going to happen this year.

“These contestants have been on a fabulous journey and this is the pinnacle. They must make wonderful memories as this is the beginning of their dreams coming true.”
