In an interview with Drum, former Big Brother Mzansi winner Mpho Wa Badimo disclosed some harrowing details about her past relationship with Themba Broly.

She opened up about the drug use and abuse she endured, stating that watching a recent episode was like reliving buried trauma. ‘Talking about this on the show was like removing myself from something that had put me down for so long.

‘That chapter of my life is gone. Watching it was reliving what I had buried in my past,’ she shared.

Mpho elaborated on her struggles to keep Themba away from drugs, sometimes even keeping him at home to prevent his access to them.

She would inform his family about the situation, but instead of support, she faced accusations of giving Themba money to buy drugs. This added to the emotional strain, making a difficult situation even worse.

Since the relationship ended, Mpho has received threatening phone calls and messages, allegedly from individuals close to Themba. These threats have deeply distressed her, especially those targeting her child, whom she shares with Themba.

‘I have no interest in Themba’s life since our breakup and wish him well, but I cannot welcome him into my life again,’ Mpho asserted. Her primary focus now is protecting her child and establishing peace in their lives.
