“I am back to music because it is what I love and what I studied for,” Mpumelelo shared. “It’s very important to prepare yourself when getting into this space by making music. DJing is more like a talent, if you are a DJ it doesn’t leave you, it’s always there.”
The name of the song, ‘Idlozi,’ holds significant meaning for Mpumelelo. He explained that it represents how our ancestors will fight for us regardless of the challenges we face. The spiritual aspect of the track adds a unique element to the music, making it even more meaningful to Mpumelelo.
