Angie Oeh, an Afrikaans mumble rapper is understood to be battling cancer for the second time in her life following her recent revelation that she’s just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

The rap artist revealed her diagnosis on Monday in an Instagram post in which she shared a photo of herself at the hospital.

“I am scared. I am fu**ing scared. Every time I have a little time to think about it, I cry,” The rapper wrote in Afrikaans.

Wynand Myburgh, her manager, posted a health update on Instagram on Wednesday, writing, “Thank you to everyone for the good vibes and support for Angie Oeh’s medical care.

“She had a successful operation last night (Tuesday). She is feeling a lot better today and is ready to start with chemo,” he wrote.

“So step one is the operation today and kind of getting her to a place where hopefully she can be sent home and just prepped to start getting the chemotherapy,” he said.

While speaking to News24, her manager said, “It’s obviously a complete shocker, you know, being that young and getting something like this twice in 12 months. She’s quite a strong girl. To be honest with you, it’s pretty much survival mode right now.”

Angie stated on Instagram that she required R200,000 for medical expenditures and requested assistance by creating a BackaBuddy with a goal of R250 000.
At the time of writing, the total amount raised was R208,708.40.
