She’s back and it’s definitely by popular demand! The Ferguson Films production has finally revealed that Connie Ferguson will return to her role as Harriet Khoza on the The Queen this week.
Taking to their Instagram page on Sunday 26 September, the production company shared a preview of this week’s events. In the snippet, Harriet who left to hide her feelings for Hector at her mother’s home in the North West province returns home.

The storyline continues with Harriet’s family members being suspicious of the timing of her return with Brutus, played by Themba Ndaba, concerned that she is hiding something.
“Harriet is up to something and she doesn’t want us to know,” he says in the tease.

We think all The Queen will enjoy seeing their faves on screen. Connie had been on break after she lost her husband Shona Ferguson on 30 July. Her absence was greatly felt and the country was right by her side during her grieving period.
However, though great love and support was shown to her The Queen’s viewership dropped from 1.3 million viewers in July to one million viewers in August.
