Dr Nandipha Gives Her Lover Thabo Bester Cold Shoulder

Convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester experienced a cold shoulder from his former lover, Dr Nandipha Magudumana, during a court appearance on Wednesday.

The scene unfolded at the Free State High Court, where the former couple, along with seven others, were present for a pretrial conference.

As the cameras focused on Dr Magudumana, she walked into the courtroom dressed in a black Nike hoodie and beige pants.

She made a beeline to hug her father, Zolile Sekeleni, before taking her seat, completely ignoring Bester. The tension was palpable as Bester then walked in and took a seat in the row behind her.

The accused group, including Bester, Magudumana, Sekeleni, Xando Moyo, Teboho Lipholo, Buti Masukela, Teiho Makhotsa, Senohe Matsoara, and James Lipholo, are facing serious charges.

These charges relate to Bester’s escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre, as well as defeating the ends of justice and aiding in an inmate’s escape. They are also implicated in the murder of Katlego Bereng, whose body was placed in Bester’s cell.

The court proceedings had to be postponed to July 31, as two of the accused need to apply for legal aid. Bester has appointed Advocate Lerato Moela as his legal representative.

During the last court appearance, Bester pleaded for the death penalty, expressing his belief that his co-accused were innocent. He even petitioned for public support for his request, only to be reminded by the judge that South Africa does not practice the death penalty.

Seem like Nandipha is now ignoring Thabo Bester.
