Annie Mthembu’s Hubby Kgolo Da Guru Reportedly Arrested, Sells Club For Bail And Rent

Iyoooh guys, hayibo, kubad, like really bad!  Guys, when Mabusi from Real Housewives of Durban said she knows Londie’s husband from the street, she forgot to mention Annie Mthembu’s husband Kgolo Da Guru.

It seems like the Durban streets have a lot to say about him, especially with his recent troubles. This past week a source came forward to exclusively speak to SurgeZirc SA revealing that 2024 hasn’t been a walk in the park for the estranged couple.

From Club Owner to Accusations

The drama started brewing when rumours of Kgolo Da Guru’s cheating hit the streets, and let’s just say things have only gotten messier ever since!

Shem, if you go to Kgolo’s Instagram page right now you will realise that he last posted in July. Well, that’s because he was reportedly arrested and the poor man couldn’t even raise bail. Iyoh, Can you believe it?

Apparently, things aren’t great between him and Annie after that cheating scandal but they’re still trying to figure it out. And they wanted to keep his arrest on the down-low with everything they have, but we all know how quickly news travels, especially in Durban.

Too Much to Handle

It’s not clear what he was arrested for but the source said to SurgeZirc SA: “We are all suspecting embezzlement or fraud in connection to R750k that they alleged was stolen from the club.

“We all know by the time he made those allegations Kgolo was completely broke and there was no way he could have such an amount of money. He was struggling to pay his employees and Annie was also struggling to pay her own employees. So he might have played a quick one there.”

Recall that last year Kgolo claimed that his employees stole R750000. It is said that Kgolo stopped paying his staff alleging that the alleged stolen funds dried his pocket. And from there, a lot of people also came out to say he owed them.

With him being broke and behind bars, the only way he could make quick cash was to sell what he had and shame… that’s how he lost his nightclub Viewz Urban Grill and Rooftop Lounge.

Yebo, DJ Bongz bought the place so Kgolo could apparently pay for his legal fees. Here’s where it gets interesting it has been said that it’s not just legal fees that he needed the money for.

Annie and Kgolo are way behind with their house, rent. Yebo! The home Annie made us believe they bought is actually rented, and they’ve been behind on rent payments for months! Iyooh, so much lies on TV, girl. It’s wild that even though the show made it seem like they were living the good life, it turns out that was just an illusion.
