It was a beautiful moment when Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes family, Tony Forbes, Lynn Forbes and his daughter Kairo Owethu Forbes received an Award at the Metro FM Music Awards on behalf of the Late AKA as he won the Best Collaboration Award With Nasty C.

The just concluded event was held this Saturday at Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit and was attended by a lot of South African celebrities who appeared in glamorous attires.
After AKA and Nasty C were announced as the winners of the category, the late rapper’s parents dressed in black attire and were accompanied by their granddaughter Kairo who donned a white top and a pant.
Kairo received the award on his dad’s behalf and was given a mic to sing her father’s song, and of cause, she did and wowed the crowd.
The late rapper’s parents appreciated the organization and the people’s support.

Recall that AKA was shot dead on Florida road in Durban along with his friend Tibz on the 10 of February 2023 in what was believed to be a well-planned hit by a yet-to-be-known person.
