The political landscape in South Africa has been shaken by recent developments concerning former President Jacob Zuma. According to leaked draft documents obtained by SurgeZirc SA, Zuma has been expelled from the African National Congress (ANC).
However, the Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) party claims they have not been formally notified of this expulsion.
The ANC’s national disciplinary committee found Jacob Zuma guilty of prejudicing the party’s integrity by collaborating with the MK party.

These findings have surfaced through leaked documents, and not through any formal communication channels. The MK party’s spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela, expressed deep disappointment at the ANC’s conduct in this matter.
Nhlamulo Ndlela stated, “We are very disappointed at the conduct of the ANC. We find ourselves having to respond to ourselves you know of the back of a document circulating on social media, when we haven’t actually received this formally.
“Neither President Jacob Zuma, Comrade Tony Yengeni, nor even our legal team has had sight of any formal correspondence. So we are quite shocked that this is the status or the decision that they have taken.”
This situation raises significant questions about the internal communication protocols within the ANC and its handling of disciplinary matters.
