Woman Gunned Down At Rooderpoort Traffic Light As Hit Squad Flees In White Polo

Traffic ground to a halt on Monday morning, 8 December, at the intersection of Corlett Avenue and Ontdekkers Road in Rooderpoort after a woman was shot dead while waiting at a traffic light.
The victim, driving a grey Kia Rio, was reportedly stationary at the red light when an unknown gunman opened fire, blasting at least four shots through the closed driver’s window.
Police immediately shut down Corlett Avenue between Ontdekkers and Albertina Sisulu Road, causing massive congestion as motorists scrambled to reroute.
