Starting May 5, 2025, WhatsApp will no longer function on iPhones running iOS 15.1 or earlier. This specifically impacts:

iPhone 5s

iPhone 6

iPhone 6 Plus

These devices are limited to iOS 12.5.7 and cannot be upgraded to meet the new minimum requirements. Users with these iPhones must update to a newer model to continue using WhatsApp.

Android Devices

Support for Android phones running Android 4.4 KitKat or earlier ended on January 1, 2025.
