According to reports, the production house, Rhythm World Productions, has failed to pay their cast and crew for the month of October.

They shared a memo which said payments would be delayed until funds showed up in their bank accounts. “This memo serves to inform you of a delay in the end of October payments due to challenges with cash flow.”

Really? In 2024, what kind of operation can’t manage cash flow properly? It’s beyond frustrating, especially when bills and everyday life just don’t stop!

To make matters worse Umkhokha: The Curse has been cancelled alongside My Brother’s Keeper. This comes shortly after the executive producer of the two shows, Duma Ndlovu, was arrested for alleged fraud and tax evasion.

Ndlovu is currently out on R100, 000 bail, and is accused of defrauding the taxman of R25-million.
