Vigro Deep Marries Long-Time Bae In Traditional Wedding

South African amapiano fans, gather around because love definitely won this weekend — and it did so in full traditional drip.
Amapiano heavyweight Vigro Deep, real name Kamogelo Phetla, has officially entered the husband era after tying the knot with his long-time partner Lilitha Nxadi in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony.
Social media was set ablaze as guests flooded timelines with videos and pictures from the intimate but star-studded ceremony. From ululations to dance moves, this wedding was giving culture, class and quiet flex — the kind of celebration that trends without even trying.

Vigro Deep Wedding Breaks the Internet (Yes, That One!)
Let’s talk about that moment everyone can’t stop replaying. In a now-viral clip circulating online, the newly married couple is seen leading a traditional wedding step, surrounded by cheering family and friends who clearly understood the assignment.
The bride, Lilitha Nxadi, was a vision — rocking an orange traditional dress with bold patterns, finished off with a chic one-shoulder neckline that blended modern elegance with cultural pride.
Meanwhile, Vigro Deep kept it clean and coordinated in a beige traditional outfit, complete with a cut of orange fabric that perfectly matched his bride’s look. Minimalist. Intentional. Husband material.
What really has fans shook? The couple managed to keep their relationship mostly off social media. It was only in October last year that fans caught a glimpse of their love story after lobola ceremony pictures surfaced online.
Low-key love in the age of oversharing? We love to see it — but SA Twitter has questions.
From Pretoria to the World — Vigro Deep’s Rise (And Now His Soft Life Era)
For those who somehow missed it, Vigro Deep is one of the architects of modern amapiano. Hailing from Pretoria, he burst onto the scene in 2019, quickly becoming a go-to producer and DJ.
In a 2022 interview, the 24-year-old hitmaker revealed that he originally wanted to pursue hip hop before amapiano pulled him in.
“At that time, I was more into hip hop, and I was even rapping. What influenced me to this amapiano genre was that at school, the sound was banging… with amapiano it was going so easily, I decided to DJ.”
Fast forward, and the rest is history. From producing bangers like “Wishi Wishi” and “Bhampa”, to collaborating with stars such as Focalistic, Young Stunna, Mr JazziQ, Scotts Maphuma, Xduppy and Zee Nxumalo, Vigro Deep has cemented his spot in SA music royalty.
Now he’s adding husband to his already stacked résumé.
