On January 29, Gugu took a big step by undergoing a vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery. This procedure helped in limiting the amount of food she could eat, which totally worked for her! In just a couple of months, she lost a whopping 30kg! Can you believe it? Talk about dedication, right?

Recently, she hit the South African Film and TV Awards looking absolutely stunning! Gugu rocked a beautiful dress that she had previously worn 10 months ago, and wow, what a difference!
