US Revokes Nota Baloyi’s Visa Over Controversial Charlie Kirk Social Media Post

The United States Department of State has announced the revocation of visas for several foreign nationals who publicly celebrated the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

In a statement, the department emphasised: “The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans.”

Among those flagged by the US government is South African music executive and media personality Nhlamulo ‘Nota’ Baloyi.

Nota Baloyi Under Scrutiny for Social Media Post

Baloyi’s post on X (formerly Twitter) was cited in official communications listing visa holders who allegedly expressed approval of Kirk’s death. Washington described the act as “heinous.”

In September, Baloyi wrote: “Neanderthals can’t have their cake and eat it… This weekend, they went openly anti-black racist, and now they’re hurt that the racist rally ended in attempted martyrdom. Charlie Kirk won’t be remembered as a hero. He was used to astroturf a movement of white nationalist trailer trash!”

The US government’s statement signals a stricter stance on foreign nationals publicly supporting violence against Americans.
