UPDATE: Mob Kills 24-Year-Old Man For Stabbing Grandmother In Mountview

A 24-year-old man who stabbed his 61-year-old grandmother in the neck has been  killed by the community in Mountview, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), on Monday.

The incident occurred after the man allegedly demanded money from his grandmother to purchase drugs, leading to a heated argument.

History Of Violence Precedes Fatal Confrontation

The deceased had a history of violence towards his grandmother, which may have contributed to the community’s extreme reaction.

Eyewitnesses reported that approximately 50 people were involved in the assault, using sticks and whips to inflict fatal injuries.
