Uncle Arrested For Rape Of 4-Year-Old Niece

A 36-year-old man from the Mokopane area in Limpopo appeared before the Mahwelereng Magistrates’ Court on charges of rape.

The accused allegedly assaulted his 4-year-old niece while her mother was away at a nearby shop.

The victim’s mother discovered the incident upon her return, noticing blood on the child’s private parts, and immediately took her to the hospital.

Investigation And Court Proceedings

The police were informed, and the accused was arrested.

During his court appearance, the accused abandoned his bail application.

The case was then postponed to May 6, 2025, for further investigations, while the accused was remanded in custody.
