Two Men Killed In Chatsworth Drive-By Shooting On M1 Higginson Highway

Two men were shot and killed in what is believed to be a drive-by shooting on Saturday night along the M1 Higginson Highway in Chatsworth.

Emergency responders were called to the scene near the RK Khan’s off-ramp at approximately 9.30pm. Upon arrival, they discovered two men inside a stationary vehicle, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Paramedics assessed the victims but found no signs of life. Both men were declared dead at the scene.

Police Investigate Fatal Chatsworth Drive-By Shooting

Preliminary information indicates that the victims’ vehicle had come to a stop when another car approached. Occupants of the second vehicle allegedly opened fire before fleeing the area.

Members of the South African Police Service were already present when medical teams arrived. The scene was subsequently secured and cordoned off as part of an ongoing investigation.

Circumstances Remain Unclear As Probe Continues
